Marni S. Dicker
Senior Vice-President, Business & Government Affairs and Corporate Counsel
Marni is responsible for all business and corporate affairs for SNC-Lavalin O&M Inc. In this capacity, Marni is also our lead for all Government relations. In addition, Marni has the leadership for our Security Services team that obtains security clearances in accordance with Federal Government requirements, conducts threat risk assessments and provides a variety of Security Consulting Services in Canada and internationally. Marni is also involved with corporate compliance, advising and participating in the strategic direction on Public Private Partnerships, and for the company's insurance and risk management. Marni interacts with our clients at various levels.
In her role as Corporate Counsel, Marni advises our internal groups on all legal issues, negotiates client contracts and structures complex agreements such as joint ventures and partnerships. Marni is responsible for the company's litigation and claims management. Additionally, she works with all levels of Operations to support its endeavour and assists with RFP reviews and proposals.
Marni is a regular speaker on topics including outsourcing, contracting, Public Private Partnerships and risk management. Her certifications include a BA in Commerce, a Bachelor in Civil Laws (BCL), and a Bachelor of Law (LLB). Marni has also been an instructor of corporate commercial law at the Law Society of Upper Canada.
