Naval and Marine Support Services. Naval and marine organizations in Canada patrol one of the longest shorelines in the world, navigating rough waters and extreme weather.  With limited resources in a vast landscape, it is critical that vessels maintain high reliability and availability and minimize time in harbour.

Keeping boats safely in the water requires sophisticated Operations and Maintenance solutions and the backing of a skilled organization with rigorously-tested infrastructure.  The SNC-Lavalin O&M Defence team provides comprehensive naval and marine support, including engineering design, corrective and preventative maintenance, and logistics support to all of our clients. We are one of the first Canadian defence companies to have an integrated ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 management system for project management and the provision of in-service support (ISS) to seagoing vessels.  Our ISS capabilities include documentation, maintenance, logistics, engineering and inspection services. SNC-Lavalin O&M Defence has expanded from supporting one class of vessel to currently supporting thirteen classes of vessel and several payload and shore stations. The Canadian Navy counts on us.
