In 2007, Bank of Montreal (BMO) contracted with SNC-Lavalin O&M for the provision of facilities and real estate management for BMO’s Canadian branch network.

This contract involved the transition of approximately 964 locally managed branches encompassing more than five million square feet of space. SNC-Lavalin O&M services provided for this contract have principally been facilities operations and maintenance-related activities including specific types of services. Property management services include building performance reviews, service calls, call centre operations and management, energy and environmental management, daily operations, maintenance management, asset management, building cleaning, grounds keeping and landscaping, physical security services, building infrastructure continuity plans, building emergency business continuity plans, commercial operations, and parking management.
