Public Works & Government Services Canada
Public Works & Government Services Canada In 2005, SNC-Lavalin O&M undertook a major facilities management contract with Public Works & Government Services Canada (PWGSC) that involved the transition of eight regional portfolios encompassing 450 buildings and 35,000,000 square feet of space. The contract included a rigorous regime of performance indicators and the implementation of ISO-certified quality management systems. In addition to the provision of property management and project delivery services, our Facilities Management Team has also secured the options of a variety of other services including lease administration and commercial leasing.
In 2009, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) contracted out the management of its real estate portfolio in Alberta, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and the Atlantic to PWGSC. PWGSC, in turn, added this new portfolio to its existing contract with SNC-Lavalin O&M. The RCMP portfolio consists of 628 buildings including 256 detachments, and covers 202,447 square metres.
